    Innovation Partnership Zone (IPZ) for Biomedical Manufacturing
    the EDC has teamed up with the City of Bothell, the Washington State Department of Commerce, the University of Washington Bothell, the Economic Development Council of Snohomish County and the Washington Biotechnical and Biomedical Association in support of the Bothell area Innovation Partnership Zone (IPZ) for Biomedical Manufacturing.

    Cascadia MedTech Association
    the EDC also helped create Cascadia MedTech Association to promote the growth and development of the medical device cluster in Federal Way. The associations sister organization, Cascadia MedTech Accelerator is currently providing medical device companies with assistance in operations management, manufacturing, IP protection and regulatory affairs to name a few.

    Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association
    The Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association is a trade association serving the life sciences industry in the state of Washington. Its membership encompasses businesses and other organizations involved in the research, development and commercialization of life science technologies.

    Life Science Innovation Northwest Conference
    The most popular event of the year in life sciences is the Life Science Innovation Northwest Conference held annually in Seattle. This conference brings together the best companies and a rich mixture of people from both the public and private sector that are committed to the life science cluster in the Pacific Northwest.

    Annual Biomedical Conference
    The biomedical community holds an annual conference in June in the City of Bothell where two-thirds of the medical device companies reside in Washington State.
